The BAC Mono R is a higher-performance, lighter, and more advanced version of the iconic single-seater supercar from Briggs Automotive Company (BAC). It was launched as a limited production run of only 30 units, all of which sold out prior to its official debut at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Due to demand a further 10 units were built , in total there were 40 Mono R's were produced.

Performance and EngineeringThe Mono R was designed to be the "New Reference" for driving machines, featuring several industry firsts and record-breaking specifications.

Power-to-Weight Ratio: It delivers a remarkable 613 bhp per tonne, weighing just 555 kg.

The 2.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, co-developed with Mountune, produces 343bhp, a record for a road-legal naturally aspirated car.

Innovative Materials, It is the first production car to use graphene-enhanced carbon fibre in every body panel, making it stronger and lighter than the standard model.

Lap Records: It has set production car lap records at tracks like the Red Bull Ring in Austria, where it was six seconds faster than a LaFerrari.

This is build number 40 so its the last car off the production line.

The BAC Mono R takes the already uncompromising Mono formula and pushes it considerably further. Limited to just 30 cars worldwide, it is lighter, more powerful and more aerodynamically advanced than the standard Mono, with extensive use of graphene-enhanced carbon fibre, revised suspension and a more highly tuned version of its naturally aspirated 2.5-litre engine. The result is a car that feels even closer to a genuine single-seat racing car for the road.

That is also what makes the Mono R so appealing within a serious collection. Alongside Ferraris, McLarens and modern hypercars, it offers something completely different: tiny, ultra-light, single-seat and entirely focused on the driver. It is less about outright numbers and more about delivering a level of immediacy and involvement that very few road cars can replicate.

This particular example is a UK-supplied, one-owner car and was specified to an exceptional level, with an original list price of £364,137. It is also VAT Qualifying, adding another point of interest for collectors looking for one of the most extreme and unusual modern performance cars available.
