The coachwork finished in Dolphin grey stands it apart from any others that you might see and never fails to draw attention and admiring comments. Having proudly owned this car for 5 years I have finally decided to let it go to a new home to make space for my new adrenaline hit (jet skiing).

Pilgrim Sumo 2.0

2025 Pilgrim Sumo Cobra Mk3 — Stealth, Muscle & Pure V8 Theatre
A truly stunning, one-owner, client-built Pilgrim Sumo Cobra Mk3, crafted to an exceptionally high standard using proven Ford Sierra running gear and finished in an ultra-menacing gloss black colour scheme that perfectly captures the raw spirit of the legendary Cobra.
Sitting aggressively on black 15” Halibrand-style wheels with spinners and period-inspired white tyre lettering, this Cobra delivers an unmistakable race-bred presence from every angle. The satin black side exit exhausts and single rollover hoop complete the authentic muscle car aesthetic with devastating effect.
Under the bonnet lies the heart of the beast — a 3.5 Litre Rover V8 upgraded with a Viper Hurricane camshaft and upgraded bearings, delivering a sharper, more exhilarating driving experience with the soundtrack to match. Every press of the throttle unleashes that iconic V8 rumble through the side pipes, creating a driving experience that is visceral, analogue, and utterly addictive.
Inside, the purposeful cockpit is trimmed in black leather and fitted with FIA-approved heavy-duty harnesses to keep driver and passenger firmly planted while enjoying the car’s immense performance and character. A cockpit tonneau cover is also included, alongside a Cobra alarm and immobiliser system for added security.
Accompanying the car are supporting invoices and registration paperwork, offering reassurance of the quality and care invested into this exceptional build.
This is not just a replica — it’s a beautifully executed Cobra recreation with genuine presence, thrilling V8 performance, and show-stopping looks that command attention wherever it goes.
A rare opportunity to own a properly sorted, stealth-spec Cobra that perfectly blends classic race car attitude with brutal V8 performance

This Pilgrim Sumo Cobra Mk3 is a superbly presented example of the iconic Cobra-style roadster.

Powered by the highly desirable 5.7L Chevrolet V8, this car delivers in the region of 300bhp, offering the ideal balance between performance and drivability. The combination of lightweight chassis and V8 power ensures the full Cobra experience—fast, visceral, and unmistakably characterful.

This is a client-built example, not factory assembled, however it has clearly been put together to a strong standard and benefits from ongoing care and maintenance with ourselves and other recognised specialists.

Key details:

Just 8,997 miles from new
3 owners
Long MOT
Strong service history with ourselves and specialist workshops
Proven Ford Sierra-based running gear
Iconic Pilgrim ladder frame chassis
Desirable rear exit side pipes

A notable feature on this car is its set of smaller Halibrand-style wheels, which not only enhance the period-correct Cobra aesthetic, but also improve ride compliance. The taller tyre sidewalls provide a more forgiving and comfortable driving experience without compromising handling feel.

Also included is Pilgrim’s wet weather roof kit, featuring a mohair soft top—making the car far more usable if the weather changes unexpectedly.

This is a Cobra that delivers exactly what enthusiasts want: raw V8 character, classic styling, strong provenance, and real-world usability.
